Reviews, benchmarks, and graphs have all been created. In practically every respect, the Ryzen 3000 series has lived up to the expectations. The mainstream CPU industry is now seeing genuine rivalry, which gives consumers more options. Which chipset to purchase is still one of the most hotly contested issues surrounding this launch. Would you like X570?

In contrast to Intel, AMD has pledged to sustain the AM4 socket through several CPU generations. The red team has so far kept its word, and older-generation motherboards are largely compatible with the new Zen 2 CPUs. While this is excellent for customers, it also adds complexity because there will always be more options available.

Is a new X570 motherboard necessary? The new generation of boards costs more per feature than the previous two generations due to the price of the new chipset. This is partly because to PCIe 4.0, a pricey and difficult-to-implement technology.

Of the three Phantom Gaming-branded X570 versions available at launch, the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus Motherboard is the more cost-effective variant. The X570 Phantom Gaming 4 retains many of the same features as the other models while putting more of an emphasis on providing value for money with a combination of high-quality components, straightforward yet stylish design, and its mid-range gaming-inspired alternative.

The overall layout has a black and grey-themed PCB, a dynamically cooled black and grey chipset, and a grey power supply heatsink that is intended to keep the CPU VCore region cool.

ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 AM4 Motherboard Overview & Appearance

There are two full-length PCIe 4.0 slots on the board’s lower half that run at x16 and x16/x4 speeds. This is caused by the Ryzen 3000 series CPUs driving the top lane at x16 while the X570 chipset is driving the bottom full-length PCIe slot.

Additionally, there are two PCIe 4.0 x1 slots and two M.2 slots, with the bottom M.2 slot supporting PCIe 4.0 and SATA SSDs and the top M.2 slot supporting PCIe 4.0 x4. Eight SATA ports that allow RAID 0, 1, and 10 arrays are also included. On the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus Motherboard, ASRock’s U.2 adapter kit, which is sold separately, is also supported.

The ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 also supports DDR4-4066 memory, with four slots and a maximum capacity of 64 GB, and employs a 10-phase power delivery with a single 8-pin 12 V ATX CPU power input.

Two USB 3.1 G2 Type-A ports, six USB 3.1 G1 Type-A ports, two HDMI outputs, and two video outputs consisting of a DisplayPort 1.2 output make up the back panel’s mid-range connectivity options. This variant lacks a USB Type-C connector but does have three 3.5 mm color-coded audio jacks and an Intel I211-AT Gigabit Ethernet port that are both powered by the Realtek ALC1200 HD audio codec.

A PS/2 combination port and three antenna ports on the IO shield itself round out the rear panel since there is an M.2 Key E 2230 slot included for customers to attach their own wireless interface.
